Dr. Thomas F Tropea, DO, MPH, MSTR

Dr. Tropea graduated from Tufts University and University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Neurology at NY Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan-Kettering, where he served as chief resident. He completed fellowship and research post-doc in movement disorders at the University of Pennsylvania studying biomarkers of cognitive impairment in Parkinson’s disease. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine where he sees patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. His research focuses on biomarkers and genetics in neurodegenerative diseases in the development of precision medicine approaches for Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.  Dr. Tropea lives in Philadelphia with his wife Jessica, their children Jackson and Victoria, and their miniature pinscher.
